The re-imagination of the wedding cape.
Artistic collaboration with Vera: studiovephotography
I had the amazing opportunity to work together with Vera, my studio neighbor. She came to me with the question if I wanted to model for her and she had this idea to use a wedding cape. Not just any wedding cape, her very own black wedding cape. Using her cape, a black lace with embroidery details , as a base and combining this with some leather pieces, I wanted to embody a kinda of punk/goth inspired aesthetic. Working together during the shooting of these pictures was great, I think we both knew what look we were going for and played into each other very well. Vera’s editing and use of lighting really took it a higher level. Her use of black and white images give the pictures this extra touch.
